Rock Encased Shelters

UNIQUE ROCK DRILLING CAPABILITIES FOUND ONLY AT Disaster Bunkers:

Disaster Bunkers is also very unique in the fact that we are able to blast and drill solid rock areas to create caverns to completely encase your home or shelter in rock. We can create tunnels, vaults and elevator shafts in solid rock as well as your shelter or an entire home. This offers the ultimate in protection and safety from nuclear blasts and or radiation as well as Bio-Chemical threats.
The NORAD government air defense command center facility in Cheyenne Mountain is built inside a solid granite rock mass, again, the ultimate protection, in case of a nuclear attack. Disaster Bunkers can provide the same level of protection. If you have a site with rock layers consider this a plus with Northwest. We have certified , highly skilled, experienced personnel to drill and or blast any rock you may have. They are licensed in all fifty states and have many years experience working on government and private projects.
An example of rock drilling and blasting would be as follows:

  1. A fifty foot layer of solid rock. Example granite.
  2. We drill the face horizontally and insert an explosive charge.
  3. This is repeated until enough rock is loose enough for removal.
  4. The rock is then excavated and removed.
  5. This process is repeated until the desired depth and size is obtained.
  6. A tunnel or cavern is created within the solid rock.
  7. At this point we begin construction of the shelter within the rock cavern.

As you can see from the above the possibilities are endless with Northwest.
If you have rock on your site, it is no longer a problem, but an asset to create the ultimate shelter, vault or home for safety and security.
