shelter in rock. We can create tunnels, vaults and elevator shafts in solid rock

An example of rock drilling and blasting would be as follows:
- A fifty foot layer of solid rock. Example granite.
- We drill the face horizontally and insert an explosive charge.
- This is repeated until enough rock is loose enough for removal.
- The rock is then excavated and removed.
- This process is repeated until the desired depth and size is obtained.
- A tunnel or cavern is created within the solid rock.
- At this point we begin construction of the shelter within the rock cavern.
